We both have very fond memories of William. He always took such an interest in what we were doing and would write to congratulate us on any educational achievements providing consistent encouragement. When Meghan was studying GCSE French, William started talking to Meghan in French... although William’s French was very advanced in comparison and Meghan had to admit she had a long way to go to be able to make conversation! Meghan also sought advice from William about where to apply for university, and fondly recalls how he shared his wisdom which shaped her choices. One time William asked Miah what she was reading and Miah said Jaquelin Wilson but William was actually asking what was she studying at school. It was a pleasure to have known William and to have spent many family holidays together and to listen to all of Grandma's stories of when they were younger. All our love, Meghan and Miah xxx
