William - but always Bill in my thoughts because he was Bill at LSE where I met him as a green 17 year old back in 1955! I joined the Cath Soc and made lots of friends We followed Bill's political career with interest and my More House friend, Bernie Spain, made a poster for his Student Union campaign, 'Cast your vote, Pick your man'. With the help of David and Chris McAuley, we have had occasional meetings over the years and always enjoyed hearing of his wide-ranging experiences. Thank you - it has been a pleasure. Rest in peace.
